Course Descriptions

 

Apologetic
Apologetic is the art and science of defending the gospel.

Homiletics
Is the science of sermon construction? It is the systematic setting forth of the steps in preaching expository sermons.

Public Speaking
Public speaking teaches effective verbal communication, knowledge and expressing of ideas.

Hermeneutics I
Is the art, science, and laws of Biblical exegesis and interpretation. It is also the principles, methods, and rules by which a true meaning of the Scriptures can be ascertained, or established and classified.

Pentateuch I & II
Pentateuch is the study of the five books of the law and how it relates to man

Old & New Testament Survey
Each book of the Bible is introduced and considered in its theme and general content.

Evangelism I & II
This course provides specific and practical help so the student does not has a feeling of inadequacy and hesitancy when presenting the gospel of Christ.

Church Administration
This class is exceptional for all pastor, deacons, missionaries, and laymen who work in their local ministry, or who wants to start their own.

Elementary Greek
Introduces the student to Greek vocabulary and grammar.

Church History
Is a survey of the Christian Church‘s stages of development, decline, reformation and restoration.

The Book of Acts
This course covers the missionary development of the early church, and the life and missionary journeys of the apostle Paul. 

The Gospel of John
This course traces development of major themes within this Gospel which placing them in a theological context.

Christian Counseling
This is a course with a broad range of
counseling information, but focus on current problems.

Christian Ethics
Probes the Biblical and theological aspects of 20th century ethics, social awareness, societal conscience, and the affectation of change in society.

Minor & Major Prophets
A study of the Minor Prophets in light of the doctrines preached and the meaning and fulfillment of their prophecies.

Hebrews
An introduction to the Hebrew language, and a study of the basic grammar.

English
A review of grammar and English composition, as well as creative writing

Pneumatology
A complete study of the Holy Spirit’s works, nature and attributes, as it relates to God the father and God the Son.

Pastoral Leadership
This course is designed to help students: develop the ministry of leadership to its fullest degree.

Healing the Sick
Class is a solid word foundation for walking in divine health and ministering healing to the sick. It includes practical instruction for operating in the Gifts of Healing.
